SHAREMARKET.
Banner Reef shares had a sharp advance on the Exchange to-day, sales being made as high as 5/3 and 5/4, with, a still further demand at the latter figure and no selling price quoted. Waitekauri shares were firmer to-day, the selling price having advanced from 25/ to 30/, and buyers came in at 20/.. In cheaper lines Waihi South sold at 8M and were wanted at 7£d. Bunker's Hill shares had enquiry at 64d, and Imperials 4d. Thames stock were almost without enquiry. Standard stocks had good all-round demands at late rates.
