CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The Golf Championship Meeting was continued this morning in fine Aveather. The Handicap Match was won by J. C. "Wilson (Cliristchnrch), who, with his handicap of 6 oft", returned a score of 75. The best actual score Avas made by C. E. S. Gillies (Auckland), Avho played scratch, and finished the round in 7S. The semi-final of the Championship Avas played this afternoon. W. Pryde (Hutfc) beat R. L. M. Kitto (Christchurch) by 4 up and 3 to play. ' Pryde played a good strong game, and after the ninth hole went aAvay with the lead. He did the six holes after the ninth in123 strokes. E. Wilder (Christchurch) beat A. Tapper (Otago), by 2up and 1 to play, after a close game. No fewer than 11 holes were halved. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Christchurch Avon the teams match against Otago by 7 holes to 2 holes.
