"JOSEPH OF CANAAN."

The Rev. Walter's Biblical play "Joseph of Canaan " was repeated in the Opera House last evening by the WoodsWilliamson Dramatic Company. , There was a good attendance, and the appreciation of -the audience was expressed by frequent applause. As Ayesha, Miss Maud Williamsan scored a great success, her acting, both as the haughty wife of Potiphar, and as the humble outcast of after years, being of the highest order. Her graceful posing was also very effective. As Joseph, Mr Alfred Woods scored another success, his interpretation of an exceedingly difficult part leaving nothing to be desired. All the other parts were well sustained. The play will be produced to-night, and to-morrow the Company makes its farewell appearance.
