WOMEN JUSTICES.

WELLINGTON, this day.
With respect to the reuresentations from the Women's National Council asking that women be appointed Justices.of the Peace in connection with visiting gaols,the Government decided to have a Bill drafted to give women visitors the same powers .is justices in respect only to gaol matters and special duties connected therewith.
