Tho mine manager writes that the S>vecli&h Crown reef has been intersected in the low level at a distance of 184 it from the mouth of the tunnel. A start has been made to drive both ways on it. The lode is Sin wide on one side, and Sin on the other. The ore is of a kindly description encased in country of first-class description and likely to make gold at any time. We have driven Oft north and sft south, and the indications are ;:ood.
