Business on 'Change was tmiet to-day. However, there were buyers in the market fora number of Thames mining stocks, but no business was recorded. For New Zealand Talismans 10s was offered. la standard stocks National, New Zealand Accident and Standard Insurance were inquired for. There were also buyers of Gishorno and Thames Gas and of Devonport Kerry and New Zealand Shipping, For New Zealand Drug (paid up) 48s was ottered, Northern Hoot were sought after at 9s 6d, and both Hikurangi and Tanpiri coal were asked for at late quotations.
