1 have interviewed the Minister of Defence who answers me that the position is unchanged, no news of any importance having been received since yesterday.

WELLINGTON, this afternoon. The Government have not received anything further this morning of moment. Mr Clondon wired that the Europeans pasted the night at Kohukolm, and he was going to Kawene to see what had taken place. So far as is known the natives have not left Wainia.
