The annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union was held on Saturday night, there being 23 delegates present. A. motion to refer the disqualification of three members of tho late New Zealand team, which visited Australia, back to the Management Committee, was rejected by 27 to seven, and a motion that the headquarters of the Union be removed from Wellington was lost by 21 to 15. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as under:— President, Mr J. Bayley, Taranaki; Vice-Presidents, Messrs A. E. Devore, Auckland ;A. Rees, Poverty Bay; J. Logan, Hawke's Bay; Waiker, ' Bush Districts; A. Rhodes, Canterbury; F. Dodd, Marlborough ; J. Hankins, Manawatu; C. Northcote, Southland ; J. Galloway, Otago ; G. Campbell, Wellington ; E. Whatman, Wairarapa ; W. Simpson, Nelson ; J. Boyd, West Coast; Horowhenua, Taranaki, Wanganui, South Canterbury, and Buller have each to nominate a vicepresident ; lion, secretary, Mr A. M. De Costa. The only change in the Management Committee is that Mr' Ross replaces Mr Bell as representative for Otago. The Appeal Committee, to be selected by the Management Committee, will be located iii Wellington this year. The new rules were under consideration till midnight, when the meeting was adjourned until next Saturday.
