OUR FOOTBALLERS.

The final practice games before the commencement of the Cup matches were held at Potter's Paddock on Saturday afternoon. All the Clubs were well represented, and some good practice was indulged in. The annual match between the Ponsonby and Auckland Druids Mas also played at Epsom, Ponsonby winning by 23 points to nil.

OTHER, MATCHES,

Violets v. Rosberry. —The former won by five points to nil. For the winners Brinsden scored a try, which was converted by Ilindman.

Native Rose v. Rosberry 11. and lII.— The former won by 15 to nil. For the winners Phillips scored 2 tries and converted one ; Lardner scored one, and Sellars potted a goal.

Home Bay v. Ramblers (Onehunga).— The latter won by 10 points to nil, tries being obtained by Kemp and Blackbourne, also a goal from' the field by Lloyd. Pirates v. Viking.—The former Avon by S points to nil, tries being scored by G. liOvatt, and Cronibie converted one into a goal.

Melrose v. Ellerslie.—Was played at Ellcrslie on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Ellerslie. The scores Avere 11 to 7.

TABERNACLE FOOTBALL CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Tabernacle F.C. was held in the Newton Baths on Friday evening, there beinc; a large attendance. The annual report showed the club to have had a very successful season, having won the Church Rugby Union caps. It was unanimously decided to join the Auckland Rugby League. The folio wing officers for ensuing year were duly elected : —President, Mr W. Baker ; Vice-Presi-dents, Messrs M. Walsh, A. E. Greenslade, J. Moran, F. Cleal, F. Ballin, G. Court; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr W. J. Lovett; Captain, Mr R. Brown ; ViceCaptain, Mr G. Cornish ; Delegate, Mr W, Mason ; Committee, Messrs H. Cleal, N. Wade, and W. Kearney. A vote of thanks to all outgoing officers terminated the meeting.
