,/;.- WELLINGTON. Thursday, y A case, which is tbe first of .the kind, came before the -S.M. Court to-day,;'■ in which the Tailors' Union claim £9 10s from Veitch and Allan fpr alleged breaches of an agreement arrived at by the Conciliation Board, in making Avhat are;alleged to be improper deductions from wages, arid employing more Aveekly men pr apprentices than they agreed to employ,also payingthree hands less than the mimriiuin Ayages. The defence was a denial of the charge, and the caseiyas adjourned till to-morroAV, WELLINGTON, this day.
This morning one count was abandoned; and another could hot be maintained, On the third the; S.M., gave judgment for plaintiffs for -Is and costs, as it was a case °t geaffls?|^^Uc interest.
