Mi- Nathan said' the"letter supported the contentions already raised by the Chamber in the intervieAv with the Premier... /'/"

Colonel Burton thought they ought to back up the representation from England. He moved, " That this Chamber re-affirms its former representations to the Government respecting the imposts levied upon mining companies in New Zealand, and strongly endorses tlie arguments used by the London capitalists in the Jetter.'",, '■.....
This was agreed to and it Avas decided to forward the resolution to the Premier:
