A DARGAVILLE MYSTERY.

About 4 o'clock last Friday morning a young man named Edward Robinson reported to Constable Davy, at Dargaville, that he had seen the dead body of a woman in the Kaihu Creek. ' There was a strong tide at the time, and the body was drifting downstream at a good rate. Constable Davy at once proceeded to the spot with a companion and a boat, and searched the river from Dargaville down to Aratapu, but could find no trace of the supposed dead body. There has been no report of any woman missing.
