SOUTH BRITISH G.M. COMPANY.

A special general meeting of shareholders of the South British G.M. Company, called for to-day to consider the position of the Company, lapsed. NIL DESPERANDUM. A trial crushing of 4 bags of ore taken from the No. 1 reef in the Tairua mine has been melted by Messrs Eraser and Son for a return which shows the value to be £2 12s lid per ton.
