SHAREMARKET.
Standard stocks continue to meet with favour on 'Change. However, with the exception of Thames, other gas stocks are quiet. For Hikurangi coal, 8s 4d is offered. There were buyers to-day of Northern Boot at Bs, and of Union Oil at 17s 6d. Values of mining stocks showed no alteration. Sales of New Zealand Talisman were recorded at 12s 6d. A good many buyers were in the market, but they wanted a concession in price.
