LONDON, November 5.

The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the reserve to be £20,715,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 47 "03. Butter, Danish, 94s per cwt. Rabbits, Australian, 9_d to lOd. At the kauri gum sales 2,418 cases were offered, and 1,124 sold at Is to 2s 6d per advance. Three-quarter scraped brought 96s 6d. The stock on hand is 873 cases. Silver, 2s 2j_d per oz.
