The stone coming to hand shows gold freely. Streak of Luck (Tiki).—The HaurakiDevelopment Syndicate recently acquired the above property, and intend thoroughly developing same. A staff of men was put on a fortnight ago, and it is reported that already a large payable reef has been dis. covered. It is also intended to put in a low level crosscut from the Matawai Road, when it is expected several other reefs will be intersected.
