The Supreme Court Criminal Sessions commenced this morning before Mr Justice Denniston. True bills were found by the Grand Jury in the case Regina v. Newsome, a charge of breaking, entering and stealing, and Regina v. Mitchell alleged assault. Newsome was found guilty of stealing, but sentence was deferred pending the Probation Officer's report.
