At a meeting of the Thames Valley Land Company held in London on the 27th April the Chairman reported that an agree, menb had been arrived ab with the North Island Prospecting Syndicate, giving them for £500 the right for one year to proepecb over the whole of 160,000 acreg, prospect, ing bo commence before Augusb las. Tj,j conditions of agreomenb have been fulfilled and a substantial depotib made, and Mr Wynne, the representative of the company, arrived hero today for the purpose of meetintr Mr Harrison, manager oFth* estate, and Mr Hume, manager for the Bank of New Zealand, and to conclude arrangements for placing on the property » large number of prospectors.
