Per Hawke's Bay, from London :—2,200 tons general merchandise.

The s.s. Waihora left this afternoon for Coaab and Southern port 6.

This morning H.M.s. Royalist was floated into the Calliope Dock to receive an extensive overhaul..

The s.s. Rotomahana lofb for Sydney at 5.30 last evening. Included in her cargo were 150 sacks and 42 cases kauri gum, and 465 pieces timber.

The barquentine Adelaide yesterday completed the discharge of her coal cargo. She commences to-morrow to tako in cargo for Kaipara, where she has been fixed to load timber for Townsville.

The Mission schooner Southern Cross was berthed this morning at the Queenetreeb Wharf to take in cargo for the Islands. She leaves on her periodical trip to Norfolk Island and Melanesia ab 2 p.m. to morrow.

The three-masted schooner Ysabel, with a full cargo of timber and sundries, proceeded down to.the powder-ground this morning to take in some exp'osive3. She leaves this afternoon for Tonga and Savage liland (Niuo).

Captain Farquhar and Mr Laird left for Syduey lasb evening en route for Tasmania, to bring over the Northern Company's lateßb purchase,. the s.s. Bellinger. This vessel used to run to Whangaroi as an opposition boat during the maritime strike.

The American barque Portland, Lloyds, was berthed this. morning at the QuayBtreeb Jetty, to discharge her cargo from New York. She is a fine, commandinglooking barque of 1,242 tons neb register, built in 1876, and of typical Yankee cut. Her dimensions are: Length, 190*6 feeb ; beam, 38.5 feet; and depth, 22 feeb.

The Tyser steamer Hawke'a Bay is busily discharging her London cargo. She leaves for Napier about Friday evening, and thence proceeds bo Wellington, Wanganui and Lybtelbon. The steamer has 2,202 bons of cargo for Auckland, and 702 tons for Southern ports. Mr A. H. Nathan is the local agent.

The disabled barque Seaking was floated into the Auckland dock yesterday afternoon. The work of stripping off the copper platingwwa s commenced this morning, and when this is completed the seams will be re-caulked, and fresh copper pub on. The

work is expected to occupy altogether about fourteen days. On the vessel coming out of dock the now mainmast will be stepped, and the re-fitting completed.
