Paekoa, this day. At the County Council meeting yesterday i& waß decided to ask the Government for a grant of £1,000 towards a bridge across the Ohinemuri River at Dogherty's Creek, Karangahake. Ib was also docided to prepare plans for a bridge acro3=! the river in Karangahako township suitable for wheeled traffic, and to form and metal the road to Puke landing, where the Kioora steamboat discharges. Various sums were voted for bracks to mines, ond a subsidy was promised to Meesrs Seaver Broa. for a road to the Waitekauri Extended property.
