Sir,—What has become of Mrs Hendre and the Tailoresses' Union ? and whab the resulb of the Fancy Fair? I hope ib is nob disappointment, which is tbe only conclusion outsiders can arrive abas they hear nothing of tbe purchase of a hall. We have passed the longest day. and will soon have winter upon us, when indoor recreation will be the order of the day. Sorely the officers of the Union will lose no time in obtaining their own place where they can meet aa often as they please for educational, social and recreative purposes. I should imagine as a question of economy it is advisable. I know one place which could be purchased for a fairly moderate amount, and think if the Secretary is wise she will do her utmost to secure that or somo other without delay.— I am etc; Action. -
