NEW SOUTH WALES V. VICTORIA.

With fine weather and a perfect wicket tho match New South Wales v. Victoria commenced. The home beam made a very poor display, tbe first seven wickets falling for 76. On McKibbin joining Noble a lengthy partnership was witnessed, the colb playing excellent cricket, although ibe had several lives. The innings closed for 159. The principal ecorers were :—Noble 71 ; Iredale, 22 ; McKibbin (nob out), 82,' Trumble took three wickets for 63; Roche' six for 63. One man was mn out. The fielding of Victoria was capital. Victoria lost four wickots for 111. The principal scores were :— Trotb (not out), 24 ; Lader (nob oub), SI. Stumps were then drawn tDr the day.
