The friendly match between Remuera aad Ponsonby Bowling Ciubs was played on tha labtor'e ground lasb Saburday. Six teams, from each club competed, and bhe contests V were watched with interest by a number ot lady and gentlemen visitors'. Amongst) the latter were ML Georges Biard D' Aunot, Consul-General for France at Sydney, and. Mr L. C. Mirabel, director of the French Australian and New Caledonian Cable Company, who were accompanied by Mr, Ambrose Miliar, French Consul for Auckland.
