Destitdte Persons Act.—-Alfred P. Warbrick, who was brought down fromßotorua by Constable Cahill yesterday, was charged with having wilfully failod to comply with an order of the Court made on March Bth, 1890, at Auckland, by allowing the sum of £196 14s to be in arrear.—The accused was remanded till Saturday, bail of two sureties of £100 each and accused's own of £100 being allowed. Damage to Property, Etc. — Henry Davis was charged with having, on January 4th, wilfully damaged the front door of bhe residence of Robert Lamb, in Union-street, to the extent ef 10s; al.o with having on January 4th assaulted Wivey Ann Lamb, the daughter of Roberb Lamb.—Both cases wero adjourned till February Ist. Insulting Langcjaub.—Mrs Ramsden was charged with having used insulting language towards Elizabeth Leonard in Freeman's Bay, on Jan. 7th.—Mr Napier appeared for complainant and Dr. Laishley for defendant. — Mrs Leonard and her daughter and Mrs Swindley gave evidence in support of the complaint, and Constable Finuerby, Mr Ramsden, Mrs Ramsden, and Mra Lincomifor defendant.--The complaint was dismissed, each party- to pay her own costs.
