The intention is nob to do any more ab tbie point until tho reef is cub in the low lovel crosscut, which ia now in over 120fh and penetrating a first-class description of sandstone country carrying nice mineral seams. An« other 110 ft by survey should see the re«f in the face, when if it maintains its quality as proved ab No. 1 level, the future of the mine is beyond question assured, and wibh capital to undertake development and erect machinery, etc., ib will rank amongst^be firsb on the peninsula.
