£6,270 FROM 325 TONS.
The return for the past) month's operations ab bhe Hauraki mine, Coromandel, is again well up to the average. In all, 325 tons of ore were treated for the handsome yield of 2.0890z 19dwb of gold, valued ab aboub £6,270. During the month, five tons extra of ore were treated aa compared with November amounb, and the yield exceeded the previous one of about lloz. Tbe twelve monthly crnshings during 1896 given tobal output of £74,947 15s of gold, while bhe total amount obtained within the last two years ia £174,624 19s.
