WOOL SALE.

The second wool sale of the season took place bo-day, when there was a large attendance of home and foreign buyer?. About 14,000 bales were catalogued, the wool being clean, light), and bright. The prices co far obtained are quite up to tha level of the November sales, and for exceptionally good wools valuoa are a shade higher. The bulk of the crossbred and halfbred sold from 7d to 7Jd, and up to Sd for superior crossbred, and B£d for superior halfbred. Longwool also reached Sd, and good merinos made 6d to 7d, and up to 7£d for superior.
