The annual eporfcs and races in connection wibh the Auckland Polo Club were holri on Saturday afternoon ab Epsom. Thero was a fashionable gathering present, amon^ the numbur being Mr Juseice Cenolly aad Mra Conolly, Bishop Lenihan, MonMjjnor Mucdonald, Sir Maurica and Lady O'Tlorke. Mr W. R. Walker* Pafc, lOnt (owner), 3. These were tko only stsartera. Giaborne won by about half a length. Tog of-War. —There were two pulls on barebacked pooies, and the "Foriorns"— Messrs VV. Gordoa, R.
