Cr.AE.KNCE v. North Shore A.—This ia promising to be a very close contest. The scores are—Clarence, £7 ; North Shore A., 84. I. Clarke (24), Hyland (14), h. White (11) played well for Clarence, while Valen'tins (26), Smith (IS), a lid McKeazio (23 nob out) battod best for tho Shore team. St. Alban's v. Grammar School —Tho latter made 44 (Bias 14; and the former havo 124 for six wickets (Nield 23, Rowland 29, Blakey 18, Brighton 25 not out. Smithyman 10 not onb and Gavin 11;. Ponsonby v. Gordon.—This match resulted in an easy win for Pousonby by an innings and 55 runs. Gordon's first innings realised only 15 runs, and Ponsonby declared their innings closed at 99 for three wieketa (Noton 61, mot out, Robertson 23, Airey 9, not out). In their second attempt Gordon were disposed of for 30. In the two innings Laageford took 13 wickets for 13 rune, and Wallace secured 5 for 27.
