Dronkenness. — Colin Campbell, charged wibh being drunk and disorderly in QueenBtreeb, end resisting Constable Harvey, was cautioned and discharged, and ordered bo pay 2a 6d cab hire.—Mr Northcroft said he adopted this course oa account of bhe good character given defendant by his employer and Sergeaub Gamble.
Street Obstruction.— John Bell and Harry Neal, bwo youths who rode tram leadera, were charged with obstructing bhe road in VYellesley-stroeb West by allowing horses to remain across the road.—Mr C. F. Buddie, for defendants, said thab an application had been pub in to the Ciby Council for a stand for the tram leaders and boya.—Mr Norbhcrofb pointed out bbc greab annoyance the boya wero to tho shopkeepers and public, and said that he would adjourn tho caeca unbil December 14fch to see whab tho City Council would do in the matter of providing a abend. Bylaw Cases. —Philip Brewster for leaving a cab unattended in Darby-street, was cautioned. — Oscar E. Jacobson charged with driving v hansom cab ab other than a walking pace round the corner of Symonda-streeb and Karangahape Road, was fined Is and 7a coats.
