Tbe first meeting of shareholders in the ( above Company called for the purpose of winding up will be held on Friday week. WAIROA SOUTH. An offer haa been received and accepted by Mr E. H. Browne, of Wairoa South, from a gold prospect-ing syndicate, who propose to prove and float his property on the'Enelish market. The property is situated on the Maraetai line of reef. A deposit has been paid, and prospecting will be proceeded with immediately. GREAT UNITED. The manager telegraphed to-day :—''Cut the reef in the oro??cn^. Broken up where cut. Carrying gold." WELCOME FIND. The manager telegraphed this afternoon: "181b of picked stone from the southern lode. More to break down."
