Work is proceeding a6 two different pointa on this property. Firstly, the main reef is being opened op by trenching on the surface, "is is a large body of scone, 12 feet to 15 feet in thickness, and I believe colours of gold are obtainable in the dish alter pounding and washing off. Thi3 lode will require to be tested at a depth before it can be speculated upon. A level is also being driven nDon a 6in leader with highly satisfactory resulcs, the stone giving excellent; prospects, and i 6 may be expected that farther good accounts from the same source will come to hand a3 it is opened up.
