Butter: Taranaki roll, 10^d to lid; bulk, lOJd; local dairy, 8d bo lOd; prime keg, 6Jd bo 7d; pastry do., 4£d to s£d. Eggs, 6£d to 9d doz. Factory loaf cheese, 5d ; large sizes, 4£d; dairy do., 3d bo 4d. Local bacon, 5d to 6d ; hams, 6d to 6Jd ; southern bacon, 6d to 6Jd ; hams, 7d to 7|d ; honey in bulk, 3d to3£d. Fruib: Sydney oranges, 4s to 4s 6d; bananas, Is 6d to 2a bunch ; peanuts, lid to l|d ; cocoanuts, 6s to 6s 6d per sack.

The butter market* was weaker. Prime fresh dairy sold at 8d to 9d lb ; medium, 5d to 6d;Taranaki facfeory.fresh, lid ;stored, 6d to Bd.; medium, 4d to 4Jd ; eggs, 6£d to 7d doz. Cheese, scarce : Prime, 4d to 4£d lb. Bacon and hams, quiet: Prime sides, s^d to 6d; hams, 6Jd to 7d. Fruib: Good sales were made of imported lines. Tongan oranges fetched 3s 8d case.; bananas, of poor quality, Is'6d to 28 3d per bunch; cocoanuts, 6s 6d to 7s sack ; peanuts, l|d lb ; Hobarb apples, Stunner Pippins, 93 to 10s ; stone pippins, 8a 6d to 9s 6d ; French Crabs, 6s to 8s; coloured varieties, 8s to 10b ; local lemons, 7s to 10s 6d per case ; marmalade oranges, 5s to 5s 6d.
