PROSPECTING ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of parties interested in forming A prospecting association was held yesterday in the Miners' Union Hall, Waihi, Mr J. T, Inglis in the chain An association was formed and called'the Waihi United Prospecting Association, Rules were adopted for ita efficient working. The membership was limited to thirty, and this number was procured in the room. It was decided to aend two prospectors oub between Katikati and Te Aroha, and the Fugill Bros.' were chasen a8 being thoroughly reliable asd experienced prospectors. Ib was also decided to send two more into the Tairua district shortly. Mr W. Siuipßon was elected secretary, Messrs Miller and Porritb, solicitors, bhe Bank of New Zealand, bank. Ib was also decided to apply to the Government fer a subsidy to assist,
