Two more claims have been applied for ab Waitakohe, the applicants being W. Robinson for the Katikati Consolidated, and H. M. Shepherd for H.M.S. claim at Te Puke.
Two others were applied for by J. C. Galbraith for the Ben Lomond claim, and G. D. Bennett for the Golden Spur. The latter has also applied for water rights. Mr Tilsley has made a new find at Waitakohe, and application was lodged yesterday.
It is reported thafs the Eliza claim a« Waitakohe has been purchased straight out by un Auckland syndicate.
Yesterday Mr Jules Wilson, of tho New Zealand Exploration Company, in company with Mr Malcolm Fleming, proceeded tc Te Puke to inspect Fleming's freehold. The Exploration Company have an option to purchase the freehold of 500 acres for £40,000. The last assay from this property gave » return of £148 lfisper to*.
