This Company ie commencing operations upon an extensive scale. It is incended to immediately sink a shaft in the Deep Sinker section of the property, and tenders for the first 150 fee* close on fche 16th met. Excellent headway is being mads with enlargement of'the Queen of Beauty share, and lenders are now called for excavating 14,000 cabic yards of earth work for a site for the new winding and pumping machinery, which will be the mosi) complete in the colony. 16 will thus be seen that the English Company ia loaing no time in undertaking prospecting work on a big scale. The Thames Hanraki Extended, a property of 77 acres, adjoins the last mentioned Company's mine, and arrangements are now beine made for sinking a shaft, and for the erection of necessary machißery. The mine is owned by a syndicate who haye empie funds in hand to thoroughly develop the property. There are eighty eh ares.
