Wellington', this day. The oppoinbmetib of Attorney-General has nob yebbeen made, though an announcement has been made that LieutenantColonel Pitt, of Nelson, is the Attorney-General-elect. The question of the appointment will bo dealt with at a full Cabinet meeting, which will be held in aboub a fortnight's time, as the Hon. AlcKenzie is expected to be absent from Wellington for that period.
