Letters of Administration were granted in the estates of John Wakefield, Mary Slater,, Richard B. Bridgman, Mary J*. Impoy, and'Martic McNamara, deceased. The Dilworth Estate.—ln the matter of the probate duty in the estate of thelats James Dilwortlj, an order was made on the application of Mr James Russell that papers herein, and also judge's reasons, be printed for the Court of Appeal. •
Compensation Case,—ln the matter of the Bank of New South Wales (claimant) and the Minister of Public Works (respondent), Mr Coloman moved to «how cause why Mr R. S, Bueh should not be appointed President of the Compensation Court.—An order was made as prayed.— In this case the Bank of New South Wales claim about £2,000 from the Government) as compensation for the Hikurangi Railwayline, which runs through a portion of the Bank's property in the Whangarei district. Both parties have agreed to Mr Bush'a appointment as President of the Compensation Court, which is to be held at Whangarei. Mr McAlister (Tola and McAliater) appeared for the Crown.
