(BY TELEGKAPII.— PAKXIAMKNTARY RE
POETER.)
Wellington, this day.
I understand that Mr Edwin Edwards, of Paeroa, and W. Kelly, M.H.R., have been very successful in obtaining an assurance from Ministers that a fair vote should be pub on tho estimates for the Waihi road, and for prospecting tracks towards Whangamaba, and also that mining roads will come in for a eharo. At the requosb of these gentlemen, ib haß been arranged that the wharf, which is in hands of the Railway Department, will be handed over to the Ohinemuri Counby Council.
