TARARU CREEK GOLDMINING COMPANY.

FLOATED IN LONDON,

Early (his morning the following cable, received by Captain Argall from Mr W. J. Lavington, of London, was posted on the Exchange : — " Tararu Creek Goldmining Company, London. This Company has been floated with a working capital of £15,000 (reserve, £15,000). Will send full particulars by next mail. In the meantime, do everything you can to expedite the transfer of tho property to the Company."

This property includes the Norfolk, Dunedin, Sunbeam, and Excelsior mines, situated at Tararu. The terms are as previously published.

WAITEKAURI No. 2 AND TORPEDO,

This property waß floated in a few minutes on the local market to-day. It consists of 45 acres ab Waitekauri, and includes the Waitekauri No. 2 and the Torpedo licensed holdings. It is bounded on the north by the Kelson and Golconda, on the south by the Edward Norman (now being floated in London), on the west by Lowrie's claim (also on the London market), and on the easb by another spocial claim. There are known to *be ten reefs on the property ranging from 14 to 10, feet. Theprospector states : " With the exception of surface pfospecting, looking ab * the various lodes and proving them gold bearing, no work of any great magnitude has been done on the property. The owners' interests were divided into 85 shares of 1,000 scrip each. Of thia number, five shares were reserved for the Company, of which 30 were offered to the public at £30 each, and 50 allotted to the promoters of the Company. All the 30 shares were taken up and another 20 were wanted. NEW FIND AT WAITEKAURI. It is stated that a man named Colloway has diecovered good ore which shows free gold ab % spot sear Mr Ralph's property ab Waitekauri. So far no defined reef has been found, bub quartz carrying gold has been traced, the formation apparently running righb across the Waibekauri Company's battery site. WAIHI SOUTH EXTENDED. This property adjoins the Waihi Sooth, and consist!) of 50 acres freehold held under lease tor 21 years, and 17 acres goldfields land, making a total of 67 acres: This property is in the hands of Mr Smellio, of London.
