PAPAROA.
The building of bhe Co-operative Dairy Factory is now completed. The directors are jusb about to procure the necessary machinery. Mr J. D. Hurley, late manager of the Eltham Dairy Factory, has accepted the position of manager. The factory will commence work-in the course of a month or two.
Messrs McCarroll are now engaged at their contract for the erection of a bridge on tho Valley Road. When this is completed, the grade road by this much shorter route will be available for traffic to the homestead district.
The St. Kilda (Capt. Robertson) is at present loading timber at Messrs Smith's sawmill, Matakohe. A change ia aboub bo be made in connection with the postal mabbors of that district, Miss E. C. CookseV having been appointed to take charge of the new Poab office. I underatand a constable ia shortly to be stationed ab the Pahi townghip.—(Own correspondent.)
