Neville, 14 days protection for Fair Alice licensed holding, Pnriri.
Other Cases. —Mackay v. F. McLiver. Plainto for surplus ground in Golden Bolb licensed holding, Tairuu. Judgment \va3 given by consent for surplus ground aa 6hown in the plan produced. Receiver of gold revenue v. W. R. Cook. Plaint for £15219? 3d, arrears of rent for Greab Northern special claim, which was forfeited on 23rd May, 1895. Judgment was given for plaintiff with costs 11s.
As usual a large number of applications were adjourned.
Buffalo (Coromandol).— The manager telegraphed :—"Got a few small specimens from the new leader. Every indication for more."
Stanley.—The crosscut is in 272 ft, A large quantity of water is coming in, which should indicate a reef not far ahead. A large reef ought to be cut in about 50ft, which was worked on tho surface by the Waverly O.W. Company. No. 1 reef shows no change.
