Hawera, this day. A meeting of the North Island members of the National Dairy Association has decided to appoint five delegates to meet the South Island delegates and arrange conditions on which an Association for the colony shall be maintained. The principal conditions are that each Island shall'manage its own affairs, but a general council will meet in Wellington, where the head office shall be, to deal with general questions, such as freight, railage,. etc. Tho new executive for the Norm will be mainly the same as last year—Mr Farley, Auckland ;Mr Liardet, Stratford; Mr Oldham, Patea; and Mr Foreman, Hawer»V»re added. ■
