EL Sbakspear^J.P.'s.) •., ', Laeceny.—Henry Grant, about 35 years of age, was charged with haying stolen one veeb, one silver watch and chain, and one silver match box, of the total value of £8, the property of Thomas Foley.—-Sergeant Gamble said he would have to ask for a remand for a week as the informant Foley was too ill to be in attendatrce. 'H.e was so seriously ill, in fact, that it was.probable another adjournment would have to be made next week.— The accused said he wished to make a statement. :\ He was guilty of the charge, but had accompanied Detective Bailey to the place where the stolen property vwas and had handed over everything to him.—Thecase was adjourned as requested. . ,
