The " Scobsman " says that tho creditors of the Ciby of Melbourne Bank: had bebber agree bo a reduction in interest, on condition that the difference is repaid,when the Bank is able. -In/view, of proposals for re* dncing inberest, the London " Sbandard " declares that depositors will not objecb fco three por cent, if they are satisfied the Bank is capable of earning it.
