The local police authorities have received a -telegram from Constable MeGilp, stationed at Kawene, stating thab two sections of native tribes at Motuekiore bush quarrelled yesterday over a disputed land boundary. The natives were excited and had firoarms, but did nob me them. Constable MeGilp, accompanied by a J.P., wenb to the locality where the dispute ocearred, and bhe constable states in his telegram the natives ultimately seemed peaceable and willing to await the decision of the Courb relative to the boundary.
