H.M.S. ORLANDO.
The following are the. appointments to bhe Orlando for.the three years' service on the Australian station, for which the warship ia to be shortly re-commissioned in Sydney :—Commander Arthur W. Carter, who waß first lieutenant of the Calliope, to be commander; Lieutenant B. P. E. Jervois, a son of' Sir William Jervois, firsb lieutenant; Lieutenant J. F. Murray Aynsley, gunnery lioutenanb; M. L. Hulton and.Archibald Dea.=, both of the R.N.R., lieutenants; sublieutenant, 11. O.K. Lambert • staff engineer, R. G. Willby; engineer, A. E. Cox ; assistant engineers, J. S. Hare and J. Murphy; chaplain and naval instructor, Rev. F. C. Hartley : staffeurgeon, Dr. A. H. Miller; floeb pay-, master, A. S. C. Clarke; assistanb-pay-maeter, Leonard Harris.
