PURCHASED FOR A QUARTER OF A

MILLION.

The sale of the Londonderry mine, aboub which rumours have been persisbenb for days, has at length been accomplished (says bhe Sydney "Telegraph"). Earl Tingall has purchased tha mine, for a sum a .little under £250,000 and interest, but the exact Bum has not been made known. It is understood, however, to be over £200,000 and onesixth interest. His lordship has purchased on behalf of a syndicate, in which Mr W. R. Casey, of Queensland, and Lord Sudely are believed to be interested.
