CHURCH SERVICES.

Last evening the Rev. E. C. Leal addressed a largo audience in the Oddfellows' Hall, Cook-street, on "The Elijah Ministry in the Lasb Time." The sermon was one of a series of Sunday evening addresses.

Special services in connection with tho Congregational Union of New Zealand will be held in the churches of that order thia week. To-night a young people's conference will be held ia the Beresfordstreet Church.

Yesterday morning the annual meeting of the members of the Auckland Hebrew congregation was held in tho Synagogue Chambers, Princea-atreot, Mr Isaac Philips presiding. A largo number of members waa in attendance. The annual balancesheeb showed a credib balance. The meeting re - elected the presenb President, Treasurer, Committee, Auditors, Honorary Secrotary and Burial Committee. Votes of thanks were passed to tho outgoing officers, to Mr H. Keesing and the members of the choir, tho master and teachers of the Hebrew school, tha Hon. Secretary (Mr Nenmegen), and to the Burial (Jommittee, for their services during the past year.
