RAILWAY DISASTER.
A FOREMAN KILLED,

A goods train rah into another composed of empty cattle trucks. , Jtbbertson, the fireman on the former, was killed instantly. /Thodrlver, Cousins, is in a critical condition, and the guard and assistant are badly injured.
The stock train was stationary at the timo, and the driver was busy oiling the locomotive. The gttard seeing the other train approaching ran to give warning, but was .too lato.
Corning on ab the fate of fifteen to eighteen miles an hour the goods brain dashed into the rear of the trucks, and besides the loss of a life, a large amounb of damage was inflicted on rolling stock. ' .The alleged cause of the accident was disregard of signalil.
